Garmin nuvi 40LM - does the job
I decided to upgrade from a Garmin nuvi 275 to the new 40LM to get a wider screen, current GPS tech, and the lifetime maps. So far, I would say it's been a good purchase. The Amazon price seemed quite reasonable. I had no trouble with downloading the current map set. The wider screen provides much better info on what's happening to the sides of the route. The device seems to access the GPS satellites very quickly. Using the American English female voice, I can hear the route commands very clearly at 70% volume. The freeway lane assistance feature (split screen while exiting) is very helpful.

very easy to program, spoken street names makes finding your destination very easy. very satisfied with it, wish I would have purchased it months ago. Love buying from amazon!

Garmin 40LM GPS
I purchased this Garmin nuvi 40LM GPS approximately one month ago and I must say I am very very impressed. I checked with Consumers Reports prior to the purchase and they had all good things to say. My main reason for purchasing is that I had a Magellan (can't remember the model) that cost me in excess of $600.
Don't get me wrong...it was a good unit but my hearing was starting to go and I couldn't hear the instructions.
There is a big difference between the Garmin 40 and the 40LM. spend the extra few bucks and go for the 40LM.
The picture is sharp,directions accurate,loud to hear,gives posted speed limits and your speed for those with lead foot.
I rate this 5 stars for day driving and nighttime driving

delicious espresso
This is one of the best espresso machines that I have tested. I love the set up and the high quality espresso that this machine produces. The compact design is great for smaller kitchens and the stainless steel casing is very easy to clean and doesn't show any fingerprints on it. The digital interface is very intuitive and easy to read, it even changes color depending on the operating status. A green color means it's ready to go, yellow shows when it's operating, and when you see red there is an operating error. The actual espresso that this machine produces is very tasty with a lot of crema and a nice body. Overall, it's a wonderful investment if you enjoy high quality coffee.

Best Present Ever!
I received this purse (Large Charm Hobo Handbag) as a Xmas present and I absolutely LOVE IT!! I'm very picky with purses so I was very happy when I tried this one. It is very roomy and spacey, with lots of pockets/dividers to keep my stuff organized! Great handbag
My yellow handbag arrived today, and I'm so pleased with it. It was everything that I hoped for and more. Surprise . . . there was a pencil skirt tucked inside! The color is fabulous and goes with everything. The purse seems to be quite well made, and it holds a lot of stuff. I promptly loaded it up with my wristlet, the book I'm currently reading and my camera (inside a camera bag). And there's even room left over for anything that needs to go inside. Bought the Golf Buddy GPS Range Finder for my wife as a birthday gift. She loves it. She said it takes alot of guess work out of the game. This makes it eaiser to pick the correct club for the shot at hand.

Wow! Amazing product, went above and beyond
I ordered these originally (HeatMax Hand & Body Warmer) for a trip overseas this summer, as a 'just in case' source of heat. These packets are amazing! they last forever [in my experience, at least 18 hours], have a comfortable degree of heat, but not lukewarm in the least. Great price for so many...I"m thinking I'm going to use them a lot during the fall and winter!

Best Warmer Out There!
I have just ordered my 4th box of this product. The heat pad gets VERY HOT when you put INSIDE your pocket (clothing). If it gets too hot, you can always leave it out to cool down then put it back in. I have very poor digestive system and my stomach gets upset easily. Great photos and so easy to use
I wanted a digital camera that I didn't have to mess with all the settings to take a picture. The reviews kept saying how easy this camera was to use so I bought it. I took it on vacation without even reading through the manual and it was so easy to use. My pictures came out so beautiful that I surprised myself. Everyone commented what an amazing photographer I was which made me laugh because all I did was leave it on the "intelligent mode" which basically lets the camera decide what setting it thinks it should use. Love the new kindle fire!
The Kindle Fire is exactly what I was looking for in an ereader. While I was trying to decide which one to get, Kindle had just announced that they were coming out with the Fire. I knew I wouldn't be satisfied with just an ereader, wanting it to do something more- I am so glad I waited. While I still use it primarily to read, I love the fact that I can do a little browsing besides and even watch a movie. Love the vibrant colors and the ease of function. The free app of the day and the free lenders library with Prime membership is a nice advantage. A big plus: I can read in bed at night while my husband is sleeping and it doesn't bother him at all!

Bought this for my Mom

Love this clock/radio/alarm!
My husband and I have one each for the radio/alarm. I use the dual alarms for weekend and weekday settings. We use the clock radio for our ipods, itouch and iphones. Canon Powershot Elph 300 HS
After going through multiple cameras (Canon EOS, Nikon point and shoot, and others), I fell in love with the Elph 300. Beautiful, Amazing
It's hard for me to like many watches, but this Seiko Men's SKA366 Kinetic Black Ion Watch is perfect. I bought this as a gift, and it came fully charged and there are absolutely no problems with it. The design and the kinetic technology are major selling points, but it's only fall back is the lack of a chronograph.

Motion Control
All I have to say about this product (Champion Women's Action Tech Sports Bra #029) is two words...motion control. I am the biggest fan for these champion sport bra's. They are comfortable, they last, and they are inexpensive. I am a soldier and I use and abuse my sport bra's. We run, and do loads of cross training. I searched my area for them but couldn't find them. So I got lucky and found them for a reasonable price on amazon!! I will never wear anything else.

Good Quality Bra
I jog and I find the bra offers the breasts great support. I don't feel any bounce with this bra. I am a 34B and I ordered a size small which fit perfectly. It's lined and it didn't chafe the skin either. It's mostly cotton and holds moisture well, I live in the tropics. The lining is soft against the skin and makes you feel dry while working out. As with most sports bras it takes effort to put on but once it's on, I hardly felt the bra while receiving the support I need. I highly recommend it.

We bought this Garmin nuvi 1490LMT for our trip to Arizona and we are extremely pleased with the product. We love the fact that this product can find a lot of new roads and the display is easy to interpret. That makes it a great product to have for your out-of-town trip.

A very nice performer
This unit is a very good value (1450LMT)and performs very well. It picks up the satelites quickly and the touch screen with the very flexible operating software make for nice and easy to use unit. This unit does not have bluetooth which us not useful for me and makes it about $40 less. Had the unit in about 3 days with standard shipping. Go Amazon!! The LM & T should keep the unit's value for years.

Easy Setup!
I run multiple routers on my home based network. This router was easy to setup, easy to configure and linked directly up with the remainder of my non-linksys routers. I am now able to go from room to room and even outside quite a distance with my laptop and wireless devices (Droid, Xoom, etc) without so much as a hiccup when they seamlessly switch routers in the background. I love this TV
I am from the old school. I just got rid of my old set from the 90,s, you know the ones before flat screens. I had done a lot of research because this was all new to me. I looked at so many stores in house and on line. I knew I wanted at least a 46" set with 120Hz in either LED or LCD. Once I narrowed down the choice, the rest was easy. I got the best price with free delivery and no tax from Amazon, and I am so enjoying the television. The picture is great, the sound is great, and the customer service is good also. I have no doubt that if I get another set, that it will be a Samsung. When I compare it to other sets that are out there, there is no comparison. If you are stuck on the fench over price, just pay the extra. First of all, you are still making a significant investment if you get another set, just pay the extra and get the quality you deserve. I heard from several people that samsung was the best, and I have to agree. You will not be unhappy wit this set.

Excellent Flash Drive
This is an excellent flash drive! Kingston made a great innovation by integrating the cover for the usb port with a swinging metal shield. That way, I long longer have to worry about losing those small caps.

In the metal piece, there is also a hole at the top so that you can attach a string to it, some people like to hang their flash drives around their necks (so they are always sure where it is).

This drive is very reliable, the Reading speed is 10MB/sec, while the Writing speed is 5MB/sec.

The Wacoal Women's Awareness seamless bra is extremely well made and very comfortable. I wear a 42D. The adjustable straps are wider than the usual bra strap and will not dig into you. For added extra comfort, the back of the loop closure (the part that touches your skin), is a soft brushed material. They really do pay attention to detail. I have always had a problem with underwire bras digging into me, and this is the most comfortable underwire I have owned. No worry about falling bra straps and sagging here! A lot of full figure bras can be plain and down right ugly, but this one has a very pretty and feminine design. Well worth the money!

Great Device
I really suggest getting this iPod classic 160 GB (7th Generation) if you have or plan on having a lot of music. I have more than 1500 songs and an 84 minute movie, not to mention countless pictures as well. This thing is possibly the easiest iPod I have ever used, and the Syncing is beyond easy.

Garmin Got It Right
I recently purchased this Garmin GPSMAP 62S to go Geocaching across America- The accuracy of this device is outstanding, often within 3-4 feet of the Geocache. It is capable of downloading Cache spots from the web, which means that there is very little extra work to do when looking. Even when a cache requires some calculation/puzzle solving, entry of the new co-ordinates has taken us directly to the site we were aiming for. Very good product for a casual geocasher. I also hope to use the features for camping/backpacking/hiking. Battery life is outstanding, Energizer lithium will net at least 8 hours or more of continuous use. The color display is great for tracking different routes and figuring out where to go next.

Eureka 71B Hand-held vacuum works very well, especially on pet hair. You do have to keep the roller brush and filters clean, but not a problem. An old toothbrush is helpful cleaning the filter. When winding the cord (which is a long cord), slip the plug between the last loop to secure the cord from falling apart when you pick up vacuum. I thought it was a well engineered product.

Great!
We have a St. Bernard who is incredibly furry. The first two times we used the Furminator, an enormous amount of hair came off of her. Now, we're using it about once a week and the hair is minimal (relative to what came off before). We've always brushed her regularly, but have never gotten the success that the Furminator has provided. Considering that our St. is lazy and spends most days sleeping in the living room, we've noticed how much less hair the vacuum is picking up, too. Yes, she still sheds, but our legs are not completely covered with white hair after she leans on us. The best first DSLR

The title says it all. This is my first DSLR and I am very happy with every aspect of the camera. A huge difference from all the point and shoot cameras in terms of the image quality. One word to describe the images - AWESOME !!
So if you are looking to buy your first DSLR, this one is definitely my recommendation.

Great Camera

This camera is a great deal for the price. The image quality is great for such a small SLR. High ISO images are very clean. ISO 800 and 1600 prints at 4x6 and 5x7 have almost no visible noise. I was able to carry this camera around Washington for a week on a single charge and still get hundreds of amazing photos. After a year of using this camera, I can say the only drawback is the slow burst speed. I used this camera with the 17-85, 50 1.8, and 55-250 Canon lenses. All of them deliver great results with this Canon Rebel XS camera.

I have several pair of New Balance sneakers in different styles, 992, 881, 882, 644, 621 and these. While I like all of them, this pair is the star of the crowd. They are very comfortable and they have great cushioning. I think it would be impossible for me to sprain an ankle while wearing them. They are worth every penny of their price.

Great for overweight women

I am overweight and was looking for a shoe that I could walk in while on the treadmill. I have always been active, my weight has yo-yo'd, and I've tried every workout equipment available. No show has ever compared to this comfort wise. I have always worn Nike's and was wearing Nike 360's and these shoes blow them out of the water. I no longer focus on how much my feet hurt while working out and my blisters are disappearing slowly but surely. These shoes aren't cute as they look like clown shoes but who cares when comfort is involved. Don't buy these in the store, you can get them much cheaper here and online.

Bushnell Medalist Pinseeker is awesome!
I purchased the Bushnell Medalist Pinseeker and love it! It is nice and light, uses a single 9 volt battery, which is nice. No charger required so I will just keep a spare battery in my bag. So simple to use, press the power button center the circle on your target and press the button for a second and bam you have your yardage. I currently have a Sky Caddie 2.5 GPS rangefinder and had an earlier model before. The nice part about the Bushnell rangefinder is that you can target in anything on the course not just the yardages that Sky Caddie has entered, you don't have to connect to a pc and download course info and of course there is no annual fee. If you don't mind those things and like a small gps that you can wear on your belt get a Sky Caddie, if you do, get yourself a Bushnell Medalist!

Great features -- great sound
I have been going through a few alarm clock/music systems in recent years, because I couldn't find one I really loved. I wanted something with good sound quality, dual alarms, good radio reception, and MP3 compatibility -- in a reasonably small package. I wanted to be able to fall asleep and/or wake up to the playlist of my choice, but I also want to be able to listen to my favorite radio programs. And I wanted it to sound good. I have finally found it. This clock/radio/iPhone player has great sound with a bass booster and "mega-expand" feature that makes the full spectrum of sound seem "bigger." I can't get over how much I like the quality of the music that comes out of this little box.

The alarm settings allow you to choose whether the alarm goes off all days, weekdays only, weekends only -- I don't have to remember to set the alarm Sunday night or turn it off Friday night. The radio works very well, even on public radio stations that tend to have weaker signals.

The whole setup was pretty simple -- very user-friendly. I only had to consult the directions on a couple of points. The buttons are labeled well so you can figure most of it out. The clock is set at the factory, and there's a lithium battery installed, so the clock is set as soon as you plug the radio in. (It is set to eastern time as the default, so you may have to adjust it.) And of course, battery backup means you don't have to reset everything after a power outage.

A number of iPod docking stations will *play* iPhone music but won't *charge* your iPhone. This one does both, which is great. My iPhone is fully charged every morning -- one less thing for me to remember. One caveat -- if you forget to put your iPod or iPhone in the dock, and you have selected your MP3 player as your alarm, there is no backup. The radio doesn't kick in if you forgot to plug in your iPod.

The system is relatively compact and fits easily on my nightstand without taking up the entire surface. The controls are pretty simple to use. I didn't have any trouble turning the alarm music off the first time I used this system. This replaces another Sony Dream Machine that had unbelievably complex controls/buttons. I'm much happier with this Sony ICFCS10iP Speaker Dock with Alarm Clock and Radio for iPod/iPhone. Definitely a keeper!

An almost perfect device
I just created what may be an opulently expensive clock radio by marrying this Sony "Dream Machine" with my new iPod Touch 4G 64gB media device.
The sound is really good and the learning curve for operating it isn't very long... I do think the touch should have a more firm grasp on the plug, over time the units plug may get damaged.
The only thing it lacks is a line out plug or headphone jack to feed a larger sound system. That would be very nice.

Sony pink 7-inch portable DVD player
DVD player in pink color was perfect replacement for seven-year-old daughter's player that failed in July. This is a nice player for a child or adult.

Just what I was looking for
I was a little worried about the size of this when I ordered it but it turns out that once I start to watch a movie I don't really pay attention to the size of the screen and the picture quality is fine. I like that I can listen to CDs on this as well as watch a movie anywhere I want to. For the price you just can't go wrong!

The Best One So Far!
This is the third GPS I have bought in about four years. It is by far the best. My last one was a Magellan RoadMate 1470 4.7-Inch Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator. It finally croaked! It had been threatening for some time. Peace be with it! Before that, I had a Garmin nüvi 660 4.3-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Naviagtor (Refurbished). Mine was new, not refurbished, but you cannot get there on Amazon anymore. That one went brain dead!

I first was looking at the Garmin nüvi 3760T 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator with Traffic. It had a hefty price tag and I was waiting to see if the price would drop. Then I heard about the Garmin nüvi 2360LMT. It had not yet been released, so I waited. I liked what I read about it. It's was also much cheaper than the 3790 and seemed to have the same features, although not as thin. I also heard about the TomTom GO 2505TM 5-Inch Portable Bluetooth GPS Navigator with Lifetime Traffic & Maps and the TomTom GO 2405TM 4.3-Inch Portable Bluetooth GPS Navigator with Lifetime Traffic & Maps. It came down to deciding between the Garmin nuvi 2360LMT & the TomTom GO 2405TM. I must admit that the Amazon.com reviews were the most helpful resource available to me in this process of elimination.

Obviously, I bought the Garmin nuvi 2360LMT. So far, I am very glad that I did.

I love the Voice Commands. I am fascinated with how this works and how accurate it has been so far. I also love the nüRoute Technology with trafficTrends and myTrends features. It began to learn some of my routes on the second trip it made. It also likes my choices of short-cuts and prefers them as I do.

The Bluetooth synched quickly to my cell. It downloaded my phonebook. I have not used voice activated calling yet, but I assume it will work as well as the Voice Commands do.

Software & map updates worked well. There were a few glitches that I noticed and these were corrected by the new software. The Free Lifetime Map and Traffic Updates are real bonuses. It is hard to believe that this comes with all the other features for this price. The product description Amazon provides is very accurate.

My advice, if you need a GPS: Take advantage of this and buy one. From what I have experienced, I do not think you will be disappointed.

Amazing Technology In A Small Package
Just received my Panasonic Fz40 from Amazon. I have several other cameras incling a
Lumix point and shoot, and a DSLR. I was looking for something that had DSLR quality in a small package, with strong zoom. Well, I found it ! This camera will bring out the photographer in you. Indoor, and outdoor shots look great. Because of the very long zoom, a tripod or VERY steady hand may be necessary for best results.

It is packed with many features. Most you will find yourself using. Be sure to spend some time with the instruction manual. Both the CD and quick guide. Get ready to read over 100 pages.

For experienced users, you can jump right in. Or use it as a point and shoot.
Image quality is excellent, however, I keep my ISO near 100, if possible. At 400, the noise creeps in like most digital cameras. This is another winner for Panasonic.
Run, don't walk, to get one !

I love my Panasonic FZ40. Let me tell you why...After some research, I narrowed my choices to the Panasonic FZ40 and the Nikon P100. I tried both cameras out. I loved the look and the feel of the Nikon but it fell short on features and image quality despite the CMOS sensor. The Panasonic was superior in image quality and features in every test. The Panasonic still pictures were clear and vibrant. The Panasonic seemed to retain more detail than the Nikon. The Nikon still pictures were nice but a little washed out. Also, the Nikon seemed to have more chromatic aberration. Video was a lot better on the Panasonic as well. The FZ40 produced excellent video and audio. The Nikons sound was muffled and the noise it picked up from the zoom was extremely loud. The P100 couldn't autofocus fast enough when using the zoom. In summary, I am very happy with my purchase of the Panasonic FZ40. It's feature packed, produces great quality stills and video, its lightweight, and you can attach filters for more creativity! Though, obviously not a DSLR, its a great bridge camera! Recommend for someone that wants great image quality and some DSLR features. ! 5 Stars from this buyer!

Apple Reinvents their G3 Masterpiece with G4 Update
OK, folks, this will be my first Amazon review, though I've bought countless other things from the site. My iPod touch 64GB G4 is on order, and I'll update my review after I've had some time to play with it.

Whereas I agree that the rear facing camera is not what I was expecting, I have to say that the overall improvements from the previous generation are spectacular!

I would rate the previous 32GB G3 Touch at 6 stars if I could. And here's why.

To me, this is a rather impressive list of improvements on an already mind-numbingly cool product. Yeah, I wish the camera was 3+ Megapixels, but truthfully, I mostly just look that the photos that take, but rarely want to print them out anyway, so this is not a deal-breaker. With the G4, I'll now be able to add the following to my list of things that I can do with my iPod....

Record 720p video.
Make video calls (cool, but we'll see if I use it)
Edit my Video.
Take photographs.
Record audio without digging out my headphones. (Finally)
View photos and movies that look like photos, instead of pixels.
Use it longer before recharging.

In summary, I believe that an iPod touch is something you buy, love intensely for a year, then throw away in favor of the new model. (That is, if you can afford to do so). I'm upgrading my iPod touch 32GB G3 to an iPod touch 64GB G4 to hold more games and home movies, mainly. The Retina display alone would have been reason enough for me to upgrade. With the impressive list of upgrades above, it made the choice very easy for me.

Wonderful Camera
I previously owned a Canon Powershot, and I wanted to replace it for a newer camera that would take pictures faster and had more zoom. I purchased the Canon Powershot SX20IS because of it's features, and I wasn't disappointed. I found it to be a little heavier than my last camera, but that wouldn't be a deterent for purchasing it. We took a trip right after I received the new camera, and my pictures were wonderful. I highly recommend this camera.

Love it
I have naturally curly, thick hair that I straighten each day with an iron. I've been using Aveda and Bumble & Bumble products until now. The Wen cleansing condition is so much better than those! My hair no longer has the frizzie look. And, it feels so clean - even if I skip a day. With other shampoo/cond, my hair always felt really heavy & dirty on the 2nd day -- not at all true w/Wen. Love this Camera!
This is an awesome little camera. Little only in size. I have been a loyal Canon owner, and have several point and shoots as well as a Rebel D SLR. I wanted a new camera for a wedding and graduations and this camera caught my eye..mainly because it was red.
This zoom is amazing, the scene modes give the user many options, from beach to snow. The low light option was what I really wanted since I have not found any P and S camera that can handle low light situations. This camera can!! No lie. The pictures are crisp and clear.
I love the ease of the functions, I think Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH20 camera is "goof proof". Very user friendly without sacrificing the high end features.
I bought an extra battery, and a faster level 4 SD card which does make a difference with start up and rapid photography.

A great camera
This is an amazing piece of technology. Not only does it take great pictures but the onboard GPS tags the location including not just the longitude and latitude but the actual name of the location. The 12X zoom is excellent and the image stabilization seems to work extremely well, even in video mode. The HD (720p)video looks excellent. There are tons of features and full manual control too. The intelligent auto mode works exceptionally well even with difficult lighting situations. For the most part you can just leave the camera in auto and shoot. But the are the P,A,S,M modes if you want to get more creative or are in difficult lighting situations that IA cannot deal with properly.

All of this is packed into a pocket-able device so it is perfect for vacations and family events. The most important thing however is the quality of the photos and they are very good to excellent with this camera. The 25mm wide to 300mm tele lens range is very useful, especially the wide end.

There are tons of features included with this camera so make sure to read the supplied PDF manual to get the most out of it. My only complaint is I wish there were a printed version of the full manual instead of just a PDF. Otherwise, this camera is a real winner.

Wow... Wow... Wow
I have always had a hard time finding a comfortable bra. Most of my bras are itchy, uncomfortable, heavy and bulky. Not the Bali. I'm a 42C (just had a baby) and this really really makes me look and feel a lot smaller. It is the most comfortable bra I've ever owned (and it takes a lot for me to say that).
I forget I have it on. The only part that bothers me is right in the back where the hooks are. It's a little itchy because the material is different, but I've put a piece of soft t-shirt material over it and no problems at all (this is my major issue with ALL bras).

I'm still giving this bra 5 stars because I forget I have it on. I purchased two more, for good measure. I hope they don't discontinue them.

wonderful minimizer
I have purchased several Wacoal minimizers they were not lined did not make me look any smaller and the straps slipped $60 ea.
This Bali minimizer for 1/2 the price is wonderful offers more support I look a whole size smaller. It seems to run a little big as I am a 38 d and wear a 36 c. Maybe they do that on purpose because you already feel a size smaller before you put it on!!It really works and I bought a bunch!

Crisp Display, Super Thin, Wonderful GPS!

The display is super crisp and bright. Even in bright sunlight. I had my Nuvi 1690 up next to it. The 1690 was washed out, the 3790 was very, very bright.

I transferred my favorites (waypoints) from the 1690 without a hitch. Also installed traffic cameras... no problem (UPDATE - the traffic cameras I installed were from GPS POI which I have used on other Garmin units without a problem. They did not appear on this unit. I understand there is some kind of bug Garmin is working on. I used the Garmin POI Loader, as I have in the past. I downloaded the Garmin Safety Cameras for the US, which they didn't have a while back and they do show up, but I need to see what happens when I come across them.). I tried the voice command and it worked surprisingly well. I had used a TomTom with voice control and this was far superior. You get a list of commands on the screen and I had no problem activating the feature simply by saying, "Voice Command.' Picked me up without a hitch. Only once did it seem to freeze on me and for a minute I thought I would have to do a reset, but I said another command and it cleared. (UPDATE - I really like the voice command feature. It makes things so much easier while moving. I am not a 'voice' person but this has come in very useful. Rarely does it miss a beat. If it does I just repeat and it gets it.)

The unit is super thin. In fact, I almost lost my grip on it a few times it is so thin. I bought the Garmin case for it and it fits very well. Easily fits in my shirt pocket.

I did a backup on the hard drive, which by the way is a whopping 8 GB, using a little over 4 GB -- room for expansion indeed. I couldn't select all on my mac and get them all to copy over, but I burned a DVD and pretty much everything was copied from what I could tell. It took about 25 minutes or so.

The unit did get pretty warm in use, perhaps because of the black back and the sun. I haven't used it at night to tell if that is it. (UPDATE - it doesn't seem to get as warm now even with the sun hitting it. Perhaps the electronics needed to get 'burned in' and all is well.)

I live in northern Virginia and was not able to pick up traffic. My 1690 was showing traffic in the same areas. The 1690 is cell-connected, the 3790 is FM.

In comparison with the 1690 with most detail selected, the 3790 is pretty much about the same in many areas, perhaps a bit more in others. No complaints about that at all so far.

I do like the ability to rotate the screen. I didn't think I would but I like the portrait view. It gives me more of where I am going rather off to the sides. I will need to experiment with it.

Routing is a bit different than my 1690. I will see how it evolves in its learning my routes. Calculation seems quick. It did take a while to lock in after being powered off, but nothing appreciable.

I can easily pack this, or put it in my shirt pocket and take it most places.

A great GPS. Pricey, but wonderful. This is the iPhone 4 of the GPS world. Nothing comes close to the beauty of the Garmin 3790.

Great product at a great price
This is the first GPS system I've owned. In the past, I simply Googled the address to get to my destination and I would get there; however, If I wanted to go out, I would get lost or have to ask for directions. I purchased the Garmin nuvi 205W 4.3-Inch because I was going on a trip to Colorado and I wanted to go site seeing in Denver and Boulder. The device was easy to use and very accurate with turn-by-turn instructions, the device will NOT speak the name of the street but will tell you to make a right or left and you can clearly see where you need to make a turn and the name of the street is displayed at the top of the screen. It calculated the arrival time, the average speed I was traveling and the speed limit on the various stretches of the freeways I took. When I arrived in Denver and I wanted to find out where the nearest Costco, Target, Starbucks or gas station was, I would simply hit the "points of interest" button and I could select from general merchandise stores, gas stations, hospitals, etc. or I could type in the specific business I was looking for and it would tell me how to get there. With this device in the car I felt confident that I would not get lost, I hate asking for directions and just that alone was worth the price. I was able to get to the Denver Natural Sciences museum, Boulder Creek and many other places with this little device and it got me back to my buddy's house with just a few presses on the screen. I would definitely recommend this device to any body who's on the fence about purchasing it. I noticed a new slimmer and slicker model just came out so I'll keep an eye on it and when it comes time to replace this one, I'll purchase the new one.

Canon PowerShot SD780IS Digital Camera : Excellent For Still Pictures and Video

I bought this camera about one month back for an upcoming vacation. In that time, I can honestly say that this camera is the best for the price. Pictures... videos... they all come out excellent.

I viewed the pictures on my TV (52" LCD) and I can state that they were the sharpest, most detailed pictures of all of my previous digital cameras (4 before the SD780 IS). Usually, when taking pictures, I leave the camera on the Auto mode and, for the most part, the pictures will come out great. For those other occasions, I switch to the Program mode and adjust the settings from there. I have not noticed any serious noise while taking pictures in low light. In fact, I shot quite a few pictures in a museum and the ones without the flash turned out better than those with the flash. The Image Stabilization mode works wonderfully. I've actually taken pictures while walking, but you would never know it by looking at the photos. 3X zoom is adequate most of the time, but I do wish it went a bit further.

The video quality is awesome for a camera in this class. I've converted the video to AVCHD DVD and played it back on my BlueRay player and I could not believe the quality. As far as I'm concerned, I no longer need my old mini DV video camera as this does most everything better. The video is sharp and smooth in the 720 mode. The only drawback is that you cannot use the optical zoom while recording. Set it ahead of time and you're fine. You can, however, use the digital zoom, but you can see the degradation in the video quality while using it beyond 2.5X zoom. Not terrible, but something to be aware of. I have read some of the previous reviews on the sound quality being poor, but as far as I'm concerned, the sound quality has been nothing short of excellent.

Battery life is good as I got about 20 minutes of video and 160 pictures on one charge. Pick up a second battery as a spare so you don't have to worry about missing any shots.

If you are looking for a simple point and shoot camera that takes excellent pictures and video, then this is the one for you.

Garmin nuvi 265WT GPS Navigator with Traffic : Hands down the best and cheapest Garmin out!

I do a lot of research before I purchase anything on Amazon, and I am rarely disappointed. I did my research on this model: Garmin Nuvi 265WT, and it exceeds my expectations.

Pros:
1. Extremely affordable compared to other "more elite Garmins" which in my opinion have more problems than their less complex counterparts.

2. Extremely easy to use. Touch and go.

3. Extremely audible (loud with crisp enunciation) for all, including my husband who is hearing impaired.

4. Includes traffic for life. This really comes in handy when there is an accident, bridge opening, or construction.

5. It also has lane assist (prepares you for what lane to get into before you turn).

6. Shows you what speed you are going, and what the speed limit is for the particular road that you are on.

7. Shows street names before you even approach them. Announces street names when indicating turns.

8. Highly accurate directions. So sensitive it shows when the car reverses.

9. It also takes the speed you are going and the distance you are traveling in order give you a precise time that you will arrive at your destination. I love this feature.

10. This is a biggy. The Bluetooth works amazingly well. My husband calls me from it all the time and I can't tell if he is calling me from his phone or through the Bluetooth on the GPS. My husband's friend has a Garmin Nuvi 265WT as well, and his Bluetooth does not work as well as ours. I am not quite sure why...maybe his particular GPS is defective or it could be the fact that his unit is several years old.

Garmin nuvi 255W GPS : Best Navigation Unit for the Price

We love our new Garmin nuvi 255. If you are confused about all the Garmin models out there, check out comparisons via a google search. There is a site with a guide that displays all of the features of all of the models side by side. Invaluable. First, decide if you need traffic updates or not. We live in a small town where they aren't necessary. So the models with "T" after them are not necessary. Then decide little screen or big. I recommend the 4.3" - well worth the extra money. It's a perfect size - easily visible for the driver. The 255 displays the speed limit, as do other models that end in a "5", not a "0". We almost purchased a nuvi 1300 at Walmart. Then I searched Amazon, and found the 255. I googled "Garmin Nuvi 1300 vs. "Garmin nuvi 255" and discovered that for $10 Less! at Amazon, I could get the 255. It's virtually the same as the 1300 but newer, and the 255 has the speed limit display which the 1300 does not. We use that function a lot. My only gripe is the size of the key board. I would rather have an LED keyboard and a way to move from letter to letter without having to press each letter. Other than that, works great right out of the box. Make sure when you first open it up, you hold the unit out, facing the sky for a couple of minutes. That allows it to find its satellite settings. Then you are good to go.
